With an integrative naturopathic approach, my focus is to identify the root cause of many of your digestive symptoms. Often times, after a thorough intake and history taking, we begin identifying different factors that may be impacting your digestion. It may be specific food sensitivities, lack of fibre or water, certain medications or an imbalance in your gut microbiome. I am passionate about the role that optimal digestion plays in overall health and wellness. It plays a role in nutrient absorption, energy levels, inflammation, skin issues, weight management, and more recently the research putting the spotlight on the connection between digestive health and overall mental health. It is safe to say that ensuring optimal digestion is critical for your overall health. I utilize a range of personalized approaches to address digestive issues, including dietary modifications, herbal interventions, supplement recommendations and if required further assessments including lab work and stool analysis to help identify the root cause. My approach is to identify the underlying cause of digestive issues and to develop an individualized plan to improve overall health.
